World Moving and Storage is a privately owned New
Zealand company whose core business is providing International and
domestic household removal and storage services to the New Zealand
corporate and private sectors.
World moving and Storage operates from our Auckland
facility that is fully owned and staffed by World Moving and Storage
employees. World Moving and Storage operates its own fleet of owned
modern vehicles that can cover any relocation from a single carton to a
full household removal throughout New Zealand and Worldwide.
As an independently owned operation our independence
provides us with the advantage of choice when it comes to selecting our
international partners for both inbound and outbound relocations.
This independent approach provides a distinct advantage
to our corporate customers in that we have the ability to obtain
quotations from more than one service provider operating in the same
area of the globe. This benefit allows World Moving and Storage to
always provide competitive pricing whilst maintaining quality assurance
through our relationships and understanding of the individual supplier
companies. This knowledge and understanding has been developed over
years of reciprocal trading.
The ability to provide choice is important both for the
identification of potential cost savings as well as allowing the
transferee to have input into the process through feedback on supplier
contact. This input is essential to get the buy in from the transferee
who then feels that they are a real part of the relocation and that they
are moving to an employer who understands and is realistic towards their
opinions.
In addition to the above we look to operate on an open
book policy with our corporate accounts and in this way we provide a
truly open and honest operation. To achieve this we obtain a minimum of
three quotations from our international partners. We then add our New
Zealand destination charges and apply a margin that has been agreed
between World Moving and Storage and its corporate customer. These
prices and then entered onto a spread sheet and then forwarded to our
corporate for selection and approval. The partner to be used is then
contacted and the process put into operation. Transferee input is
included with the pricing information where their individual preference
is indicated.

Short Term Accommodation Arrangements

Select and book suitable short-term accommodation for
the transferees. e.g. serviced apartments, motel etc

Mazzone Consultants have negotiated good rates with a
number of accommodation providers, meeting middle to high budget
options.

Confirm in writing (email where possible) accommodation
and booking details for transferee.

Arrange collection from the airport and take to
temporary accommodation if required.

Ensure that the transferees have everything they require
to make their stay comfortable.
