This is just a quick email to express my appreciation and thanks to Kristol, Joe and Ollie for the friendly and highly professional way they evacuated my apartment of nearly all my worldly possessions today.

They arrived spot on 8.30am and even managed to find a park right outside the building door which is a minor miracle in itself. Each member of the team introduced themselves, shook my hand and after a quick chat about what needed packing set to work with what can only be described as military precision.

Having never done an international move of this magnitude I was a bit nervous but they totally put me at ease and I retired to my bedroom with my laptop and the cat and let them do their thing. By 1pm everything was wrapped, recorded and ready to go with no fuss and a great deal of care.

Kris kept me informed of exactly what was going on and everyone had a smile, even after having to deal with two flights of stairs and no lift.

A big thanks to Carolyn as well for the initial visit and following up all my questions so quickly.

It's so great to see a New Zealand company doing everything so well.

We will be completing the appraisal shortly however I wanted to email you directly. I am serving in the Royal New Zealand Air Force and have moved the family seven times in 17 years (including four international moves). Generally we have to work through a specific moving company as dictated by Defence policy however for our latest move we were allowed some flexibility. This is the first time that we have used your company and unfortunately I was not in country with the shipment arrived so my wife had to work with your people on her own. However, I worked closely with Southern Winds International in the USA.

Southern Winds proved to be excellent and provided a level of service which exceeded many of our previous experiences. I was very happy with the quality and of their work. While I was not present when the container arrived in NZ, I did have regular contact with Teresa Anaru.

Teresa Anaru proved to be friendly, professional and extremely competent in answering all our questions and resolving a couple of issues for us. The delivery team who arrived on the day provided a level of service which we have NEVER encountered before. Their attention to detail, hard work and friendly manner made the onerous task of unpacking a pleasant experience for my wife. Your team were, in a word, awesome.

Please accept my heartfelt thanks and appreciation. You can be justifiably proud of your team. We have at least four more families to move back to NZ in the near future and I have highly recommended your company to each of them.
