Just a quick note to thank to the whole team who made the New Zealand leg of our shipment from the UK work so well.
The delivery team (Tim, Tom, Hayley and George) were extremely helpful and professional at all times. Their calm manner made a potentially stressful day a joy and excitement. The office staff, in particular Teresa, were always polite and helpful in answering my difficult questions and always got back to me promptly.

They went out of thier way for me, they even drove to the place I was staying for a few days before I left to get my documments because my baby mush brain forgot them. Please thank your team of Mike, Rewi & Captain T for an excellent and humourous move. They arrived promptly with plenty of energy and humour to get the job done. All the little bits and pieces, we hadn’t quite packed where swiftly added to spare boxes.
As a holiday job many moons ago, I worked as a furniture mover, and was impressed with the care the guy’s took of the furniture and the houses. They even carefully packed our glass cabinet in special wrapping for the cross town move.
Their extra talent of helping place items in the new home helped reduce the end of day stress.
All in all a great move.

Just a quick email to say thank you very much for all your help and assistance with our move to Australia.
The girls who came out and did our packing were very fast and efficient and a real pleasure to deal with.
It has also been very helpful having your other contacts, Southern Comfort Kennels, HiFix and of course the booking of our flights thru Harvey's at Manukau.
All in all the whole experience has been pretty painless and everything has fallen neatly into place. Hopefully all goods will arrive in Brisbane without a hitch and we will be in touch again when we are looking to move the remainder of our stuff over in a year or so.

"We have moved from our Auckland house, A place we have lived in for fifty years. World Movers did the shift for us, and believe me we couldn't be happier.
We had several quotes from different firms, all much of a muchness (pretty similar). The person who impressed me the most was Llew Jones from "World" he talked me through as to what would happen, what they would do and when they would do it
I must say I asked lots of questions to all the carrier people, but he didn't have to say, "I'll get back to you on that one" He just knew all the answers.
The people they sent 'round were young giants, if you can believe bigger than Jonah Lomu, yes that tall.
My wife Ann said "O.M.G, look at the size of these guys, I hope they take it easy on the furniture",, we have a lot of antique china and furniture, and I have a music room full of old but precious musical equipment. I didn't have to worry about anything, they had a delicate touch with all the china cups/plates/bowls all wrapped in sheets of paper, all my furniture was bubble wrapped,,,,,,,,,,,,they were so polite.
I was amazed at the Vans they had for us, they were massive, and as I said before, we needed something huge to take fifty years of our household. Also in the trucks, everything was blanket wrapped, besides all the wrapping they had done inside the house,,,,,,,,,,,,,very, very impressive. At the new house, every thing was placed as per our instructions,, nothing was too hard for them ,although we changed our minds a few times as to which went where.
The "World" people and crew are to be highly praised for the work they have done for us. Would we use them again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"Yes",, will we tell people about them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, a resounding Yes.

"Thank you for all your help with our shift from Auckland to Wellington. We have moved many times and this move was the least stressful of all. The calm and controlled manner of the team that packed up our house was wonderful. It was so completely under control that we felt totally comfortable with heading off for a long lunch and leaving the team to carry on with their work. This has never happened before, so a special thank you to the team involved.
When Raymond initially told me that everything would be packed and loaded in one day I was very sceptical as this had not happened when we had used other movers. But he was right. The World Moving team got it all done in a day. They even managed to deliver the furniture earlier than expected despite the weather conditions (thank you Tom). Your motto should include the furniture always gets through'.
The team in Wellington also lived up to expectations, especially the ladies from the Finishing Touch. They did a great job of unpacking and clearing mountains of paper, and managed to fit everything into a much smaller kitchen than we had at our previous home. I don't think I would have known where to start if it had been left up to me. This also let me concentrate on all the other things going on that day. Having not seen the house before moving in, it was a challenge deciding where everything should go as the moving team kept up a steady flow of boxes and furniture coming into the house. They even managed to put up with my moments of panic and frustration without batting an eyelid.
Once again thank you for your professional, calm and efficient service. It made our relocation so much easier. I will continue to recommend your services to others."

they were on time they introduced themselves personally they were well mannered and polite they worked from start to finish having minimal breaks (hardly even had a cuppa!) the packing was great - only a very minor item was chipped the dismantling of items such as the trampoline was efficient the checking with us for the silly little things that we had overlooked in the packing the checking as to where we wanted the items placed when we arrived in Tauranga the "was there anything else you needed done before we leave" question
Honestly, the simple things mattered like their manners, their nothing was too much of a problem attitude, their introduction of themselves etc made a big difference.
I must say, I felt we received far better service than we anticipated and we'll definitely be recommending World Movers to anyone who might need to move in the future.
