Removalists and Drivers

Do you like working as part of a team and staying fit? Are you after a permanent, casual or holiday job where every day is different?

We are looking for Removalists/Offsiders and Drivers to join our growing team of removal experts.

Experience is not essential, but a bonus, as we will happily teach you how best to do this the World Moving way.

Talk to us about company-sponsored training towards your truck license!

Removalist/Offsider duties include: packing, loading, unloading and unpacking furniture
Drivers: A full class one license is required as a minimum.

Hours are between 7-8:30 am and finish around 4:30pm in the afternoon with additional hours if needed.

The exceptional service started with Wendy. We had several phone discussions working through the logistics of Mum's move. As I'm not located in the same city as Mum this wasn't a simple exercise but Wendy guided me through it.On moving day, we'd packed all Mum's possessions and Paia and PJ turned up on time with a positive attitude and ready for action. As we didn't know what time we'd be able to take possession of Mum's new place, they loaded the truck pronto just in case it was early settlement. When we got access, they got everything unloaded in good time, with great care.The team had total respect for Mum, her possessions and her emotions as she moved out of the place she'd called home for 62 years.This move had the potential to be very stressful but on the day it all went smoothly and I could focus on guiding Mum through this emotional time for her.Thanks team - Mum and I truly appreciate you...

World Moving and Storage packed up our house and moved some items into storage and some to our beach house., Nine months later they moved all our furniture and household items to our new apartment. Not a single item was broken or damaged and they were incredibly efficient. It's uncommon to encounter someone as sincere and straightforward as Mr. Marshall at World Moving and Storage. When I requested a quote for an international move, he promptly provided detailed information. Although his company's solutions didn't precisely align with our requirements, we had to opt for a competitor. Nevertheless, if their services had met our needs, I would have selected World Moving and Storage due to Mr. Marshall's transparency, prompt responses, and willingness to assist. I will definitely reconsider his services in the future if the need arises.

First time I have ever used this company after being referred and I would definitely use them again in a heartbeat! The 3 men team were professional didn’t muck around and highly respectful of all of my possessions regardless of value.I used them for a mix of packing and relocating.They even played decent sounds for us to listen to and growled if I tried to lift a finger.If you are moving I highly recommend this company.From the first call you make to the very end they are very good with customer service.They also take the boxes away after giving you a month to unpack.

Absolutely fantastic. The three 'T's (the three removal men) were amazing. I was worried about a huge heavy cupboard and they were awesome - got it out of the old place and into the new one. They worked for over 11 hours and were super professional. Highly recommended.

I can't recommend this company enough. Every staff member we dealt with over several different moves was caring and professional. After having less than satisfactory experiences in the past with cowboys who hire out a couple of muppets and a truck, we decided to pay a bit more and get professionals. And that's what we got. Tala and his packing and moving team were professional, friendly, intelligent, efficient and responsive to our requirements. Communication was excellent. Moving day went smoothly, and the team put our boxes in sensible places which made unpacking easier. They even set up our beds for us. We would not bother with other moving companies for our next move. They might not be the cheapest, but after a number of moves we've discovered that you get what you pay for. I can't thank Raymond, Wendy, Javon and Tala enough for taking care of my shift. I was moving from a house where I'd lived for 22 years into an apartment and they helped with the packing, the unpacking and - when I realised that there simply wasn't enough room for all my stuff and was panic stricken and unable to make decisions because of the chaos I was living amongst - Raymond came to the rescue. He rang to check how the move had gone and when I started babbling to him about the 28 boxes I simply had no space for, he arranged for Javon and Tala to come back and collect them. World Moving and Storage will store them until I buy my own place. I couldn't be more grateful. Just a note: Raymond advertises on the radio station I work at but this isn't sponsored. I paid for the service and it was extremely reasonable for the incredible service I received.

Nathan and the team were very willing and applied sound logic to there approach to the move into our house. It helped that Nathan had packed our things 3 months previously, to go into storage. World moving have good systems for packing. Particularly appreciated the Priority box containing all important items, e.g. bed fixings. Will definitely recommend World Moving.

Raymond and his team moved us in the lockdown three days after we ent down to Alert Level 3. There were many complications with the timing due to the uncertainty of when real estate transactions could be settled and we need a lot of flexibility. Raymond stayed in touch with us right through this period and was hugely helpful. We then had issues with the (ridiculous) demands of the purchaser of our house, which put is in a difficult and high-pressure situation. Raymond came up with a great solution for us (when it wasn't really his problem) and took all the stress of us. On the day his team were fantastic: courteous, careful and efficient. We can't recommend World Moving highly enough; they are the best!

We recently moved house during Level 3 lockdown and the team at World Moving couldn't have been better throughout the whole experience.They quoted the job remotely using an app, agreed a moving date in advance (even though, at that time, we were still at Level 4) and on the day the team of David, Tayne and Te couldn't have been better. Not a single item damaged or broken and willing to 'go the extra mile' throughout.Highly recommended!
