World Moving and Storage Limited began as a furniture distribution company in 2004 with a high profile, new furniture client and quickly gained recognition from the new furniture marketplace and corporate clients as a company with integrity. From inception, the company prided itself on its low damage record and “can do” attitude. The managing director, Raymond Dobbe, continues to direct the company based on strong personal values and by being receptive to new ideas and feedback from the World team and repeat customers.

David Williams purchased ownership in the company in 2007 after a 20 year stint in the United Kingdom, including 10 years in General Management positions with large, British removal companies, managing up to 200 staff.

Today, World Moving’s vision is “to continually learn and strive to be the most reputable business and employer in our industry, whilst creating financial sustainability and opportunity for our shareholders and employees.”

World Moving & Storage has been nominated for and won several Business Awards over the years. The company was also instrumental in working to develop and implement a New Zealand first National Certificate in Relocations for the entire industry in 2012.
